Bud Light Flatters Texans With New Can Design With (Gasp) A Real Star On The Package | Flavor | San Antonio
Apparently, the marketing geniuses of Anheuser-Busch InBev have noticed that some Texans can be a bit over the top when it comes to state pride.
The Belgian-based brewing conglomerate has launched a new “Texas Pack” of its Bud Light foam. Cans in this packaging pay homage to the state with a prominent Lone Star – the emblem, not the rival beer brand, so calm down – on the front of each can.
“The pride Texans have in their beloved state is second to none, and our new Bud Light Texas pack is a symbol of that, allowing residents to authentically celebrate their roots, no matter which corner of the state they live in. Bud Light Marketing Vice President Andy Goeler said in a statement.
“From rodeos and two stages to cowboy boots and Tex-Mex, Texas has its own traditions and customs and they deserve a beer that captures what makes the state they call so special.”
Let a European-based beer company and the St. Louis-based Bud Light brand reduce all Texans to cowboys on the doorstep shoveling chili con carne-smothered enchiladas in their mouths and in the front of their faces. their pearl-snap shirts.
The new Texas gadget packs are available in 12 packs of 16 ounce aluminum bottles. The packaging also adorns 25-ounce cans. Of course, they’re only available in the Lone Star State. Yeah damn haw.
